Bright & Dark Container Cafe

The design concept of "light" and "dark" roughly means to highlight the difference between different structures, textures and spaces, or to separate the contrast between different spaces. For the exterior of the building, we used two containers to be stacked with different inclination angles up and down, and the upper floor is in the same space as the lower container. We designed it as a small rooftop for open-air dining, with some inclined containers beside it. In this open-air space area, it is a design concept that can be "bright" or "dark". For example, if it is not in the sun during the day, we can fold the sunshade above to form a "bright". If you put the sunshade down when it is very sunny, it will form a "dark" effect. We designed it as a dining area similar to a small box. The container area downstairs is for ordering, taking meals and a small bar for three people. The small bar belongs to the "dark" design. There is hardly any sun exposure and requires lights to illuminate. The area of the two supporting pillars is the space where the car can be parked in the morning and nothing will be placed in the night.
